Honduras Border

I read someone's account that Honduras required a vet check out at the border for their dog. Appears that Domino did not have the same experience?

We had no trouble with Domino at the Honduran border. We went through a crossing from Gautemala that is rather a pain to go through (near Rio Dulce). You can read about it here: http://ramblewriter.com/ramblings/?p=373

Frankly, every border where we had to provide paperwork for Domino, I'm convinced you could hand them anything that looked somewhat official and they would accept it. The only border crossing that I think was really looking at the paperwork was Bolivia into Chile. the Chilean officials knew what they wanted to see. The other border crossings they just asked if we had "papers" for him, and accepted what we gave them without really even looking at it.

The exception was Panama. They have rather more vigorous importation laws for animals. You can read about our experience here: http://ramblewriter.com/ramblings/?p=390
