The Honduran Coup and Protests

On June 28th, Honduran President Manuel Zelaya was ousted from office conservative opponents, replacing him with Roberto Micheletti.  Sparking controversy at a global level, protests immediately ensued in Tegucigalpa, the Honduran capital.

I hope not only for our sake (we have to drive through Honduras to cross through Central America), but more importantly, for the stability of the Honduran government, that this political conflict will be resolved.
